Kindergarten

Our faith and relationship to God are essential in our teaching.

Appreciating All Learning Styles

All children learn differently.

St. Monica Kindergarten teachers take the time to assess the learning abilities of each child so each child can reach their full potential.

TEACHERS

MRS. HUNTI live on the Northwest side of Indianapolis with my husband, Mike. We have 3 daughters-Sarah, who is 26 years old, and twins, Emily and Nikki, who are 24. I graduated from Ball State University with a major in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Kindergarten. I received my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Indiana University. This is my 13th year in a Kindergarten classroom and my fifth year at St. Monica. In my free time I like to spend time with my family, play tennis, and read. I consider it a great privilege and responsibility to be teaching at St. Monica School.

Mrs. Miller - Hello, I am Mrs. Miller! I was born in California, but I grew up in the Indianapolis area. I received my degree in Elementary Education from Marian University. I also studied English as a New Language, Spanish, and Catholic Education at Marian University. I have been teaching at St. Monica School for 2 years. Last year I taught first grade and this is my first year teaching kindergarten. I have been a St. Monica Parish member since I was 7 years old. St. Monica is a place I can call home.  During my free time I enjoy cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with my friends and family.
